CJSC Web Plus

CJSC Web Plus is one of St. Petersburg's largest Internet Service Providers. Web Plus offers a wide range of services such as switchboard Internet access, ADSL Internet access, Home networks and Wi Fi, IP telephony, fixed local communications, combining remote offices into a single fast-operating network using the ADSL technology, web-design, hosting, operator services (modem pools lease, Internet traffic routing).

CJSC Web Plus, a leading company in the ADSL Internet access market increased its subscriber base by more than 30% in 2006. Currently, the number of ADSL clients exceeds 42,000 subscribers.

Web Plus has implemented ADSL 2+ technology. Half of all the ATS in the Web Plus ADSL coverage area were equipped with IP DSLAM equipment with a possibility of connecting to this technology. Further dynamic development of the company’s ADSL network is planned.

Within the framework of the “Home networks” project launched in 2006 it is planned to connect 1100 resident houses in different city districts.

The dealer network selling ADSL packages is being constantly extended. The dealer list was added by store chains: Vashi Kompjuterniye Magaziny, Kinomir, Tsifrograd. Thus, the dealer network selling ADSL modem amounts to about 400 points of sale in every city district.

The range of payment tools for Web Plus’s services is also being constantly extended for users' convenience. Web Plus’s services can be paid for via popular payment systems such as WebMoney, Yandex.Dengi, Unified Paying System, through the Baltiyskiy Bank cash machines, Idealer payment system, Unikassa payment terminals etc. Total amount of payment centers via which one can pay for Web Plus’s Internet access services exceeds 1,250.

In 2006, the service of Wi-Fi high-speed wireless Internet access was launched. Hotspots were installed both at traditional Wi Fi access set-up points (cafes, restaurants, cinemas) and at less traditional ones (shopping malls, autocenters). In future the company plans to increase the amount of hotspots, issue access cards and provide roaming.

To improve the quality of servicing its clients, Web Plus is planning to open new service centers.
